Final Exam Part Three

In this picture, the main compositional element is Rule Of Thirds. The photographer achieved this by placing the subject on the edge of the frame, the subject becomes an off center focus of then picture. This creates a dramatic effect.
The element in this picture is leading lines and rule of thirds. The photographer achieved this by showing off where this path leads, because the is on line on the right side of the picture this effect is possible. For the ruler of thirds, the subject (woman) is on the outer right side of the picture. As if the picture as cut into thirds.
The elements in the picture are ruler of thirds and depth of field. This is made by placing the male soldier on the part of the picture. He is off center thus making the picture more dramatic. Also, the photographer achieved depth of field by blurring the background, giving the subject a more 3-D feel.
The element in this photograph is simplicity. The photographer achieved this by putting the subject (the man) agains a completely neutral background. This puts all the attention on the man.
